Black desert

The image shows a stunning view of the Milky Way rising over a tree in a very small oasis in the black desert of Egypt. The Milky Way is our home galaxy, a huge collection of stars, gas, and dust that spans about 100,000 light-years across. The Milky Way has a spiral shape with four major arms and a central bar. From Earth, we see the Milky Way as a band of light that stretches across the night sky. The black desert is a region of the Sahara that covers about 50,000 square kilometers of land west of the Nile river. It is named for its dark-colored rocks and sand that cover the landscape. It has various natural features, such as volcanic hills, craters, and oases. The black desert is also rich in history and culture, dating back to the ancient Egyptians, who left behind rock carvings and pottery. The image was captured by me, Amr Abdulwahab, a talented photographer who specializes in astrophotography and landscape photography. I said that this was one of my best shots of the Milky Way, as I was able to capture it over a tree in a very small oasis in the black desert of Egypt.
